Due to our continued growth, we have an excellent opportunity for the right person to join our technical software sales organization to assist with business development. As a Digital Solutions Specialist, you will have the responsibility of assisting the outside sales team with generating a consistent stream of new sales opportunities, as well as assisting on existing opportunities where directed. The selected candidate will also have the opportunity for growth into outside sales as a Territory Solutions Specialist after demonstrated success.
REQUIREMENTS / RESPONSIBILITES:
- Partner with assigned Solutions Specialist(s) to increase new sales opportunities within defined region.
- Develop new opportunities through cold-calling, lead follow up, and other prospecting related activities.
- Outbound calling to drive attendance to local technical events and workshops.
- Work with assigned Solutions Specialist(s) on existing opportunities; develop quotations, order fulfillment, etc.
- Perform other miscellaneous office duties for event and office coordination
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:
- 2 or more years of B2B sales or prospecting related experience.
- Collegiate work or Bachelor’s Degree a strong plus.
- Ability to develop solid product knowledge to properly position solutions.
- Excellent phone and computer skills.
- Formalized / Accredited sales training a strong plus.
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding activity related targets on a consistent basis.
- Maintain accurate electronic records utilizing our CRM system.
- An attitude others might describe as self-motivated, positive and driven.
